Dan Kennedy

Dan S. Kennedy is the provocative author of the popular No B.S. books; a serial, multi-millionaire entrepreneur, he serves as the trusted marketing consultant and coach to hundreds of entrepreneurial clients, $1 million to $1 billion in size. He successfully influences well over one million independent business owners annually through his newsletters, tele-coaching programs, local Chapters and Kennedy Study Groups. As a speaker, Dan has appeared with four former US presidents and celebrities like Donald Trump and Gene Simmons (KISS, Family Jewels on A&E); legendary entrepreneurs including Jim McCann (1-800-Flowers), Debbi Fields (Mrs. Fields Cookies), and Nido Qubein (Great Harvest Bread Co.); famous business speakers including Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Tom Hopkins, and Tony Robbins and countless sports and Hollywood celebrities. Dan has addressed audiences as large as thirty-five thousand and for more than ten consecutive years, he averaged speaking to more than 250,000 people per year.

Adam Witty

Adam Witty is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Advantage Media Group. Started in 2005, Advantage Media Group is The Business Growth Publisher. Advantage helps busy professionals Create, Publish and Market a book to Grow Their Business. Witty has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily, on ABC and Fox and was selected as one of INC. Magazine 30 Under 30 for “America’s Coolest Young Entrepreneurs” in 2011. He is the author of numerous books including Book the Business: How to Make BIG MONEY With Your Book Without Even Selling A Single Copy. Adam serves as the chairman for the Youth Entrepreneurship South Carolina. He is a proud alumnus of Clemson University and is happy to call Charleston, South Carolina home.

Steve Gilliland

Practice Chair – Speaking

A member of the Speaker Hall of Fame, Steve Gilliland is one of the most in-demand and top-rated speakers in the world. Recognized as a master storyteller, and brilliant comedian, he can be heard daily on SiriusXM Radio’s Laugh USA. With an appeal that transcends barriers of age, culture, and occupation—plus an interactive and entertaining style—Steve shows audiences how to open doors to success in their careers, their relationships, and their lives.In addition to his brilliant speaking career, Steve is a prolific, accomplished author, evidenced by four of his books—Enjoy The Ride, Making a Difference, Hide Your Goat and Detour—perennially making the publisher’s bestseller list and his being named Author of the Year. Steve built a multimillion-dollar company from the ground up on the same philosophy he expounds to his audiences: if you continually learn more about your company, your industry, your customer and yourself, you will always be a leader.

Marsha Friedman

Practice Chair – PR & Media

From the beginning, Marsha set out to make her company different. Rather than charging retainer fees with no promise of specific results — the approach used by thousands of competitors — she decided to craft a pay-for-performance model: EMSI would charge only for the media it was able to deliver. At the time, Marsha was one of less than a handful of PR professionals attempting this customer-friendly fee structure. Today, Marsha is considered a national pioneer in pay for performance PR, a model other firms have since tried to replicate.

Sally Hogshead

Practice Chair – Branding & Omnipresence 

World-class branding expert Hogshead has discovered a new way to measure how people perceive your communication. Find out what makes you intensely valuable to others, so the world will see you at your best. Hogshead rose to the top of the advertising profession in her early 20s, writing ads that fascinated millions of consumers. Over the course of her ad career, Hogshead won hundreds of awards for creativity, copywriting and branding, and was one of the most awarded advertising copywriters right from start of career, including almost every major international advertising awards.

Jon Wuebben

Practice Chair – Content Marketing

Jon Wuebben is the CEO of Content Launch, a web content development and strategy firm that provides content for hundreds of companies, digital agencies, web designers, and others around the world. He is the author of “Content is Currency: Developing Powerful Content for Web & Mobile” and is also the author of “Content Rich: Writing Your Way to Wealth on the Web” (2008). Content Launch is a Telegent Media, LLC company. Jon has spoken on the topics of Content Marketing, Content Development, Web Copywriting, Social Media, and Web 2.0 at the Online Marketing Summit, New Media Expo, Shop.org Annual Conference, Media Relations Summit, and for a number of business groups, associations and large corporations.

Robert Skrob

Practice Chair – Lead Generation & Referral Marketing 

Robert Skrob, CPA, CAE, has served as the executive director of Florida Association of Destination Marketing Organizations since January 2001. Under his leadership, FADMO’s membership has grown to represent over 99 percent of Florida’s tourism industry. Robert launched two annual events on behalf of the association: the Annual Conference dedicated to CEOs in the fall, while the Destination Marketing Summit provides education to all levels of county tourism promotion agencies in the spring. Robert is the owner of Membership Services, Inc., an association management company specializing in membership marketing, recruitment, and retention. In 1999, he was tested and certified by the American Society of Association Executives as a Certified Association Executive, a designation he has maintained in the years since. Although he hasn’t practiced public accounting since 2003, he maintains his license and fulfills its continuing education requirements for his mother, who wants him to keep his license so he has something to fall back on if “the tourism thing” doesn’t work out.
